Daphany R. Sanchez is a New York native, who has been passionately working as an energy equity advocate. Experienced in the public and nonprofit sector, Daphany has managed and completed various projects such as greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting for United Nations Greening the Blue, Green Jobs-Green New York, and Economic Development Growth Extension Program for New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), NYC Retrofit Accelerator for NYC EDC, and Newtown Creek Superfund Site Partnership Coordination for U.S. Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez.

Daphany offers expertise in delivering highly effective, mission-driven housing and sustainability implementation results. She has extensive accomplishments in developing plans, securing funding, building and leading teams, and partnerships, establishing creative strategies, developing cost-effective programs, and delivering meaningful results across multiple organizations. Daphany currently serves as an affordable housing specialist in the NYC Accelerator program.
