Mark Anthony Thomas is the president of the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, leading the 10-county region’s business investment strategy and advancing partnerships to drive catalytic development and talent attraction. Mark has served as the first Senior Vice President of Partnerships for the New York City Economic Development Corporation and the Director of the Los Angeles Mayor’s Operations Innovation Team.

He serves on the Board of Directors for the Power of 32 Site Development Fund (Chairman), NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association (Pittsburgh), FUSE Corps, Pittsburgh Water, and Sewer Authority, and the Camille A. Brown Dance Company. Mark is an Atlanta-native and a graduate of MIT Sloan (MBA), Columbia University (MPA), and the University of Georgia.
