Yarojin Robinson

Yarojin Robinson is a Managing Director in the Urban Investment Group (UIG), a domestic, multi-asset class investing and lending business that provides equity and debt to real estate projects and social enterprises, as well as lending facilities to help small businesses grow and create jobs. Mr. Robinson joined UIG in 2011 and leads deal teams with a focus on public-private projects that includes mixed-income and affordable housing, retail, office, education, and community facilities.

Mr. Robinson has worked on a broad range of transaction types including construction and term loans, private equity, and investments in projects eligible for New Markets Tax Credits, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and Historic Tax Credits. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Robinson worked as a corporate and real estate attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Sullivan & Cromwell. Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Juris Doctor of Law and Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University, and currently serves on the board of the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation.
